DR. SUPHAN TUNC
I was born in Diyarbakır and completed my primary, secondary and high school education in Diyarbakır. In 2000, when it was time to finish high school and make a decision about which department I will study in university, I actually thought that architecture would be the most suitable major for me because of my interest in mathematics, geometry, 3D thinking and art. However, due to the conditions of that period, I somehow started the Faculty of Medicine.
During my medical education, my commitment to medical science increased day by day with the idea of learning about the human body and touching human life. After all, even though I didn’t start strongly enthusiastically when I first entered the university; As a doctor who loves her profession, I graduated from Dicle University Faculty of Medicine in 2006.
During my medical school education, when I was doing my internship, I had a particular interest in the Department of Plastic Surgery, which I thought was the closest department in terms of creativity and planning to the architecture that I felt regretful not studying.
Thus, after working in Istanbul 112 Emergency Service for 8 months, I started Çukurova University Faculty of Medicine Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery Department in 2007 and became a specialist in 2012. While I was taking my specialization training, I received a National Competency Certificate.
Between 2013 and 2017, I worked as the only Plastic Surgery Specialist at Rize State Hospital, which I went to due to compulsory service. I worked at Haydarpaşa GATA (Sultan Abdulhamid Han Training and Research Hospital) between 2017-2020. During this period, I also worked at Okmeydanı Training and Research Hospital with a 3.5-month assignment.
In order to enhance my experience in microsurgery, in 2019, I have been in Chang Gung Memorial Hospital in Taiwan which is one of the best microsurgery centres in the World.
During my assistantship training and expertise, I performed many aesthetic and non-aesthetic surgeries.
I was accepted as a member of the European Association of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery (EUPRAS) in 2017 by passing the exams consisting of two steps, written and oral, held in Helsinki and Belgium.
As in every field of medicine, I attended many courses and congresses in order to follow the progressing scientific developments in the field of Plastic and Aesthetic Surgery, and I surely will continue to attend as long as my lifetime and energy allow.

I have been serving my parts in my own practice since 2019.
